• Joe Scibelli added 18 points.
• Jesse Turkson chipped in 12 points and 15 rebounds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Five points from DJ Harper keyed an 8-0 start to the game for McDaniel. Haverford, however, responded with eight straight of its own to tie the game with 12:51 remaining. Aaron Washington responded with a jumper to break the 4-minute, 34-second scoring drought but Kahlil Garnes drained a 3-pointer to give the Fords their first lead of the game. After a Mike Wallace (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) steal-and-layup, Jack Cork scored four points and Joe Scibelli added a jumper for a 17-12 lead with 8:13 showing.
• Haverford's lead grew to six before Josh Sproul (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) finished a baseline drive to ignite a 13-0 run. Harper contributed seven points during the nearly four-minute stretch. Two Joe Wujciak free throws with 23 seconds remaining closed the deficit to 28-23 at the break.
• A Harper 3-pointer stretched the lead to 36-29 with 17:30 remaining but the Fords tallied 10 of the next 11 points to go back in front. Cork and Scibelli scored all 10 Haverford points during the stretch. Tied at 43-all after a Washington 3-pointer, Jesse Turkson finished a three-point play to ignite a 16-2 run and give the visitors a 59-45 lead with 7:54 to play.
Braden Caldwell converted a three-point play to restart the Green Terror offense and Harper put the exclamation point on a 17-3 run, tying the game at 62-all on a breakaway dunk with 2:26 to play. Harper twice gave McDaniel the lead in the final 1:22 but each time Garnes responded to tie the game, including a layup with 26.1 seconds remaining in regulation to make it a 68-all game.
• A Kyle Goldfarb 3-pointer gave Haverford a 74-70 lead just 61 seconds into overtime. Two Washington free throws and a Harper layup tied the game for the seventh time with 2:51 showing. Trailing 77-76, Harper converted a pair of baskets for an 80-77 lead with 1:26 showing. On the next Haverford possession, Goldfarb swished a kickout 3-pointer to tie the game once again. Tied at 80-all, Haverford had an initial game-winning shot attempt blocked but the ball landed right in Turkson's hands. He turned and hit a 13-foot jumper in the lane with 0.1 seconds on the clock for the game-winner.

THE INSIDE STORY
• The 33-point outing by Harper was a career high. It was the first 30-point outing by a Green Terror player this season and most since 2013.
• Haverford finished with a 43-32 advantage in rebounding.
