THE SKINNY
The teams traded goals early before sixth-ranked Gettysburg broke open a 9-5 game with 12 straight goals en route to a 21-6 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS  
Emma Legacy (Deale, Md./St. Mary's) led the Green Terror with a pair of goals and pair of ground balls.
Acadia Noll (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) recorded two goals as well.

FOR THE FOES

• Caroline Sullivan led the Bullets with five goals, one assist, and three ground balls.
• Jordan Basso added two assists to her hat trick.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg opened the scoring on a Caroline Sullivan-to-Jenna King connection in the game's first 68 seconds. Just 34 seconds later, Kealey Allison (Frankford, Del./Indian River) found the back of the net for the equalizer. Sulivan and Emma Legacy traded goals over the next five minutes before the Bullets reeled off five straight to take a 7-2 lead with 90 seconds to play in the first period. Jordan Basso scored twice in the run. Acadia Noll and Gabi Connor traded goals in thefinal minute of the quarter to make it an 8-3 game.
• Solo runs from Natalie Hoff (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) and Legacy around Sullivan's second made it a 9-5 game with 8:46 showing in the second. Sophie Smith scored two more goals for the Bullets before the half ended with the hosts in front, 12-5.
• King keyed a 6-0 third quarter for Gettysburg with four straight assists to help push the lead to 18-5. The Bullets tacked on three more in the fourth quarter before Noll scored in the final 24 seconds.

THE INSIDE STORY
• The Gettysburg defense limited McDaniel to a season-low 14 shots while shooting 37 times on the offensive end.
Kayonna Cook (Cooksville, Md./Glenelg) added a pair of ground balls for McDaniel.
• The Green Terror enters Saturday's finale as part of a group of four teams within one game in the conference standings, batting for the final two playoff spots.
