Schwartz earns All-ECAC women’s soccer honors

DANBURY, Conn. – Maddie Schwartz (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield), a junior on the McDaniel women's soccer team, has been named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) team, released on Wednesday.

Schwartz, a midfielder, earned second-team honors after earning her second straight appearance on the All-Centennial Conference second team. Starting all 23 games, Schwartz led the team in scoring with 14 goals and 34 points. She had a hat trick at Shenandoah on Sept. 4 and two goals against Swarthmore on Sept. 28 and Penn State-Behrend on Nov. 16.

The Green Terror concluded the season with a record of 17-6 (6-4 CC) and appeared in the CC tournament and won the ECAC Division III women's soccer tournament for the second straight year.
